Hybrid Mohair Rollers

TFB 5mm NAP/Pile rollers are generally used for smooth surfaces, where the smoothest finish is desired. Best for painting the likes of furniture, kitchen units, window frames, and door frames — essentially anything small that requires a smooth, spray-like finish.

The key to achieving the smoothest finish is to make sure that the painted surface is prepared well – holes filled, surface well cleaned, and dried. Also, before starting using our rollers, always use water to “rinse & spin before you begin” and you will achieve the best finish right from the start. Besides, the post-painting cleaning process will be much easier too!

The shortest nap, the 5mm Nap rollers come in 100mm, 230mm, and 270mm.  Gaining huge popularity within upcycling communities and with well-known furniture painters.

About Two Fussy Blokes:

TFB is a NZ company. The founders Peter and Chris are fussy about paint roller sleeves.  That is why while enjoying a cold beer following another tough day being frustrated by poor quality rollers, they decided to create their own paint roller sleeves and other tools that would live up to fussy high standards. Two years of rigorous prototype testing and Two Fussy Blokes launched in 2018.

• Hybrid Mohair Rollers = Designed to be used with oil-based paints paints for the best result, also compatible with water-based paints, marine paints, and even epoxies.
• Microfibre Rollers = Is the standard go to roller. Perfect for water-based paints. Recommended for primers and topcoats. Can also be used for Ultranamel.
