We’re now selling Roofing Grit in recycled Roofrite buckets – while the outside may look a little rough, the inside is clean and just as reliable as ever. This move helps reduce waste and supports a more sustainable future by giving old buckets a second life. It’s a practical solution that’s better for the environment and just as effective for your roofing needs.

Even better, we’re now offering a larger 24kg size at the same great price. That means more grit, less packaging waste, and even better value for your money. It’s roofing done right – with sustainability and savings in mind.

Economical and easy to use. Re-grit your old Decramastic roof tile and get them back to their original condition.

Process for Decramastic Tiles:

• Treat rusted areas with a Rust Converter
• Spot Prime with ROOFRITE Zinc Primer or Anti Corrosive Primer Grey
• Mask off any required areas
• Apply 1 coat of ROOFRITE Hi Build Base Coat
  • If re-chipping then spray Hi Build, 2sqm at a time and spread the Roofing Grit while wet. (like laying grass seed)
• Apply a mist coat of Hi Build Basecoat over the entire roof to encapsulate Grit
• Apply two coats of ROOFRITE Top Coat in Matt
