PITAKOTE is a Hi-Build Epoxy Coating is a two-pack solvent free epoxy coating, formulated for use where chemical and abrasive resistance is necessary. It is used extensively where hygiene requirements of the highest standards are needed and gives a very smooth finish to properly prepared surfaces.

Preparation Is Simple

For New Concrete:

• Allow 28 days to fully cure.
• Smooth surfaces? Roughen them up with mechanical or chemical etching (use diluted hydrochloric acid).
• Ensure your surface is clean, dry, and contaminant-free.

For Previously Painted Surfaces:

• Remove loose or flaking paint.
• Use CCM Degreaser and sand for best adhesion

How to Apply Pitakote

1. Mix it Right: Combine base (5kg) with hardener (1kg) and mix thoroughly.
2. Apply with Precision: Apply 2 x top coats without thinning for a seamless finish. 
3. For new concrete, thin the first coat by 20% with CCM Pool Paint Thinner.
4. Finish Like a Pro: Use a roller, brush, or airless spray for a smooth, even coat.

Technical Highlights

• Drying Time: Re-coat in as little as 16 hours. Fully cures in 7 days.
• Heat Resistance: Stands strong up to 120°C dry and 60°C wet.
